Coolnasnaughta Rock Art
It took me little time to locate this example of Carlow Rock Art in Coolnasnaughta – having drawn a blank searching along hedge rows I decided to call into a house and ask for help. There it was perched in the garden!
Because of where it is now located it’s hard to get a good photo but you can make out some of the ten cup marks on the rock. There are also two crosses carved in it – surely added later.
Coolnasnaughta – what a lovely place name.
